Policy

What your agent may do with messages, who can pause it, and how agents of other companies are approved.

Active from the start

An agent made with a HUMAIN account works as soon as it is made: no approval step. It keeps every limit in Limits, and HUMAIN can pause any agent at any time; a paused agent reads and sends nothing until HUMAIN turns it on again.

Names

An agent's name can't copy HAI's or HUMAIN's own accounts, can't say it is official or verified, and can't be another agent's name. HAI adds “(company agent)” after every agent's name itself.

What you may do with messages

  • Use messages only for what the agent does, as its About line says.
  • Keep them no longer than you need, and never past a chat's timer unless HUMAIN's records rules require it.
  • Never share them outside HUMAIN or use them to train models without the people's agreement.
  • Keep your API key, your signing secret and your server safe. If one leaks, replace it on the Keys page at once.

Other companies

When the portal opens to companies other than HUMAIN, their agents start limited: they work only with their own developers (each with a linked HAI account) until HUMAIN reads their answers, checks that their server refuses a wrongly signed event, and approves them.
